Lisa Vanderpump Doesn’t Think Ariana Madix’s Pump Rules Filming Conditions ‘Make Sense’

With all of the drama on Vanderpump Rules, it’s sometimes easy to forget about Lisa Vanderpump’s role in the plot. LVP is the center of the show, even though she tries to stay as far away from the mess as she can. The SURvers have always been the backbone, even if it is Lisa’s show. However, that’s never stopped her from sharing her two cents about her former employees.

LVP recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live to unpack Season 11 of Pump Rules. Obviously, a lot of people have opinions about Ariana Madix’s refusal to interact with Tom Sandoval in front of the cameras. While many fans understand Ariana’s need for distance from her ex, Lisa apparently wasn’t so keen on Ariana’s filming parameters.

Lisa throws some shade at Ariana

During WWHL, Lisa was asked about Ariana’s avoidance of Sandoval while the VPR cameras were rolling. “Well, I understand if she’d drawn a line in the sand and said ‘No, I don’t want anything to do with him,’” Lisa said. “But the fact that she was living with him, I think you have to pick a lane because the juxtaposition of her living with him, passing in the corridor for what is it a year now that doesn’t make sense to anybody.” Sounds like Lisa is picking a side, and it isn’t Team Ariana.

Sure, Ariana and Sandoval’s living situation is messy, but so was their breakup. It makes sense that Ariana isn’t trying to be buddy-buddy with her cheating ex just months after the scandal broke. For some reason, there’s something about the Toms that LVP can’t help but defend.
