The Lisa Rinna “new face” is no more.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is opening up about her experience with facial fillers, noting that she’s had some recent work dissolved after people criticized her suddenly different appearance online.

It all started with a TikTok video that’s no longer available shared by Nicole Smith, an aesthetic physician assistant, who analyzed the 60-year-old’s “overfilled look.”

“The key with doing dermal fillers or Botox is to maintain your youthful look. Not to alter and change your appearance,” Smith said, before noting that Lisa had “too much” filler in her cheeks and midface. “It completely throws off the full facial balance,” Smith said. “With good injection techniques, your results should be undetectable.”

People flooded the comments of the post with remarks on Lisa’s appearance, noting that they didn’t recognize her. While the work someone chooses to have done is their own business, Lisa responded in the comments with, “Skinvive is not for everyone, and it was not good for me. Luckily we could dissolve it today. Whew.”

In case you’re not familiar with it, Skinvive by Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable that’s designed to improve the smoothness in your cheeks. The Skinvive website notes that it’s injected as tiny, intradermal microdroplets of hyaluronic acid within the dermis layer, “so you won’t see any change in the shape or volume of your face—just healthier looking skin for a lasting glow.”

Lisa previously told Cosmopolitan that she keeps her youthful look by following a moderate lifestyle. “I’ve been really fortunate to get to 60 and be healthy, knock on wood,” she said, before noting that she’s been working out regularly since she was 16.

“I live in moderation, even though it seems like I live very loudly and largely. I get my rest. I eat mostly healthy. I’m moderate,” she said.

Lisa seems to be back to her usual look. She just shared photos and videos of herself from Miami Beach on Instagram, looking like she was having a total blast.

Keep doing you, Lisa!
