Lisa Barlow’s Son Jack Returns to States Amid Mormon Mission

Jack Barlow made the controversial decision to participate in a two-year Mormon mission. His mother, Lisa Barlow’s, shock was documented on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4. The Bravolebrity wanted her elder son to attend college.

But after coming to accept Jack’s motivation and decision, Lisa supported her son. She threw him a RHOSLC party during which Jack found out that he would spend his mission in Columbia.

Now, about ten months into the commitment, Lisa’s son is back home for a visit.

Lisa praised Jack “love of service” as he continues his mission

On May 16, Lisa posted in honor of her son’s homecoming. The family had a warm reunion, which the Bravolebrity documented with a photo shoot.

“A necessary trip and amazing timing,” she captioned the photos. Pictured was Lisa, Jack, John Barlow, and the younger Barlow son, Henry.

“Love seeing my Jack so we could make sure the next 14 months in Colombia he would be completely well. I love seeing his maturity, hearing him speak Spanish and his love of service and the people of Colombia,” the Vida Tequila founder gushed.

Lisa then spoke about the incredible bond her boys have. And even the Barlow’s dog Kendle enjoyed seeing Jack.

“Jack and Henry are besties- I love seeing them back together even though it’s short lived and we love our baby Kendle,” the RHOSLC star continued.

Finally, a message for those thinking about trolling Jack online. Certainly, being in the spotlight has its cons. And Jack has peaked a lot of interest by shedding light on, and joining the Mormon mission.

Lisa wrote, “If anyone comes for MY kids I promise you’ll regret it.” Unless you’re Mary Cosby, of course.

Jack is looking healthy five months after he was hospitalized in Columbia during the mission. At the time, his mother updated fans on Twitter about her son’s health. Fortunately, the hospital stay was short-lived.

“I miss Jack every day — he has been in the hospital for 3 days and it’s killing me not being there,” she wrote. “He will be [OK]… They are figuring it out.”
