Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire coming to Oklahoma: What to know

Lionel Richie is saying "Hello" to Oklahoma in concert this summer.

The legendary singer, songwriter and producer announced Tuesday that he's extending his "Sing A Song All Night Long" tour featuring special guests and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Earth, Wind & Fire.

The 2024 run will include an Oklahoma show June 7 at Tulsa's BOK Center.

When is Lionel Richie kicking off his 2024 'Sing A Song All Night Long' tour?

Produced by Live Nation, the 13-show run on the "Sing A Song All Night Long" tour will kick off May 23 in Knoxville, Tennessee, at Thompson Boling Arena, with stops in Memphis, Kansas City, Orlando and more.

The 2024 dates follow last year's successful sold-out 20-date run, which made its way through North America with stops in Chicago, Boston, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more.

Richie, who has sold more than 125 million albums, continues to be a force in popular music: He was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, won the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by the Library Congress and was lauded at the Kennedy Center Honors. He has served as a judge on ABC’s “American Idol” for the past six seasons and will return for the show's new season set to debut in February.

With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide and nine Grammy Awards, Earth, Wind & Fire is one of the best-selling bands of all time. The legendary group recently earned its 27th career Grammy nomination for Best Traditional R&B Performance as a featured artist on Victoria Monét’s song "Hollywood."

When do tickets go on sale for Lionel Richie's Tulsa show?

Tickets for the June Tulsa show go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 19.

Prices range from $40.95 to $225.95.

Tulsa tickets will be available online at www.bokcenter.com.
