'The Lion Guard' Sneak Peek: See Ana Gasteyer's Day as a Jackal
There’s a new jackal in town — and she’s ready to dominate the Pride Lands. In the upcoming Lion Guard episode “The Kupatana Celebration,” Ana Gasteyer makes a guest appearance as Reirei, the clever and conniving matriarch to a family of jackals. We’ve got an exclusive sneak peek at Gasteyer’s voice cameo on the Disney Channel Lion King revival, and let’s just say she’s got that jackal cackle down pat.
In addition to the sneak peek clip from The Lion Guard, check out the photo of Gasteyer in the recording studio as she voices Reirei. The actress looks like she’s having way too much fun playing the jackal antagonist, so we predict this mammal mama will wreak major havoc as she leads her pack through the Pride Lands.
Gasteyer isn’t the only big voice featured in The Lion Guard. The Saturday Night Live alum is in good company: The show also features the voice work of Rob Lowe and Gabrielle Union (as lion couple Simba and Nala), and a recurring lineup of guest stars that includes Blair Underwood, Christian Slater, Sarah Hyland, and Maia Mitchell.
