LINEUP: Gwen Stefani, Blink-182 to headline Huntsville’s South Star Music Festival

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – After months of waiting, it’s here! The star-studded lineup for Huntsville’s music festival has been released.

On Tuesday morning, the lineup for the South Star Music Festival went live. Several big-name acts will be attending.

The festival, which will be held at John Hunt Park, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29. You can find the full lineup below:

Saturday

  • Headliner: Gwen Stefani

  • Shinedown

  • Jane’s Addiction

  • Jimmy Eat World

  • TLC

  • Juvenile and the 400 Degreez Band

  • Gin Blossoms

  • Candlebox

  • Dexter and the Moonrocks

Sunday

  • Headliner: Blink-182

The festival was announced in October of 2023 after the Huntsville City Council unanimously voted to allow Mayor Tommy Battle to enter into a three-year partnership with C3 Presents LLC to produce a music festival for the city.

“I am excited by the incredible level of talent set to perform in Huntsville this fall,” Battle said. “We look forward to a successful collaboration with C3 Presents on this inaugural festival and future events that enrich our cultural landscape.”

Huntsville’s Chief Music Officer Matt Mnandrella described the lineup as “a dream come true for music fans.” He added that C3 Presents’ decision to host a show in Huntsville speaks for the city’s reputation and trajectory toward becoming a world-class music city.

“The epic scale and quality of product C3 produces will elevate our entire music landscape,” he said. “Artists talk to each other about their experiences, and it’s obvious these artists have all heard good things about Huntsville. It’s an exciting time for music in Huntsville, and we look forward to welcoming music fans and visitors alike to John Hunt Park in September.”

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, April 25. Pre-sale tickets will be available between 10 and 10:40 a.m. Prices will increase at 10:40 a.m. when the public on-sale begins.
