Lindsie Chrisley Reflects on Her 'Year of Many Life Lessons' as She Turns 34: 'Onward and Upward'

Todd Chrisley's eldest daughter celebrated her birthday with a list of quotes she "carried with me throughout the last year"

Former Chrisley Knows Best star Lindsie Chrisley looked back on a "year of many life lessons" on Monday as she shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from her recent 34th birthday celebration with new boyfriend Trent.

"When you take responsibility for the choices you make and the path that you walk, you can fine tune your approach until you do see the results you want. + These were the ones I was looking for," Lindsie, who hosts the podcast Southern Tea, began in the lengthy post.

"Thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes, thirty-three was a year of many life lessons," she continued. "It was like a party. Inviting a lot of people. Some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, some show up late. But in the end, after the fun, there are a few who stay to help clean up the mess. These are the ones I've kept around and I am forever grateful for them."

Lindsie, who also co-hosts the podcast Coffee Convos with Teen Mom 2 alum Kailyn Lowry, then shared several "quotes that I've carried with me throughout the last year."

"What we leave untouched or unhealed from the past, we unknowingly invite to rewrite its story in the pages of our present," read one quote. "Nothing in life has happened to you. It's happened for you. Every disappointment. Every wrong. Even every closed door has helped make you into who you are," read the second.

Among the photos Lindsie posted were several featuring Trent. The couple, who became Instagram official in July, appeared to stick close by each other throughout Lindsie's birthday. "The best love story is when you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time," Lindsie wrote. ⁣

Lindsie, who is mother to son Jackson, 11, with her ex-husband Will Campbell, continued in her message, "I asked God to help me grow and he taught me how to forgive, to love my enemies, to serve humbly, to pray fervently, to work wholeheartedly, and to bless others generously." ⁣

She signed off by thanking her "dearest friends who've stuck by my side through all the seasons" before asking her followers, "Also, do we love Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift or do we love them?"

Noticeably absent from Lindsie's birthday post was any mention of her family, with whom she has long had a fraught relationship. The post also included no mention of Nic Kerdiles' death early Saturday morning in a motorcycle accident. Kerdiles was engaged to Lindsie's sister Savannah Chrisley from April 2019 to September 2020.

Lindsie, who first appeared on Chrisley Knows Best alongside her blended family when it debuted in 2014 on the USA Network, left the series in 2017, later entering into a public feud amid their estrangement.

Although she declared in 2021 that there "will never be a reconciliation," Lindsie stood by her family as a federal jury found her father Todd Chrisley and stepmother Julie Chrisley guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and tax fraud.

During a Sept. 21 episode of Coffee Convos, Lindsie addressed what led to her no longer being on speaking terms with her younger sister Savannah, 26, explaining that she blocked siblings to shield them from her social media content after they asked her to delete a mocking post about a Chrisley family bingo card.

"I understand emotions are high and everybody doesn't deal with things the same way," Lindsie said at the time. "It wasn't meant to be rude. It wasn't meant to be mean. It was, I'm going to address this because it's all over the Internet so I will remove it, but also remove yourself."

Lindsie said she is leaving the door open for a possible reconciliation, adding that Savannah "also knows how to get a hold of me if she wants to work this out privately, which it seems she does not."

Todd shares Lindsie and her older brother Kyle Chrisley with his first wife, Teresa Terry, whom he divorced in 1996,

Todd, 54, and Julie, 50, were indicted in August 2019 for 12 counts of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy. They denied the allegations.

Following the trial that began in May 2022, the Chrisleys were sentenced that November to a combined 19 years in prison. They reported to prison on Jan. 17.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons' online inmate search system, Todd has had his sentence reduced and will now leave the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on Jan. 22, 2033, nearly two years before his 12-year sentence was previously expected to end.

Julie’s sentence was shortened by 14 months and she is scheduled to be released from the Federal Medical Center Lexington on Oct. 19, 2028.
