The stalker situation in Hollywood continues with Lindsey Stirling suffering at the hands of Taylor Swift's alleged stalker.

The renowned violinist, best known for performing spectacularly choreographed violin performances, recently contacted private investigators over an obsessed fan. The culprit is no stranger to harassing female entertainers, given his ties to Swift; however, his days of tyranny may soon be over.

Stirling's life took an unfortunate turn when she caught the eye of an overzealous fan, who turned to allegedly stalking her. The man's antics made the violinist's days a living h---, and she swiftly turned to a private investigator named Joe DeLu to solve her problems.

The seasoned veteran tracked down Stirling's alleged stalker in a heart-thumping encounter that will be showcased on a new show on FOX. The program will air on Mondays at 9/8c, revealing how DeLu resolves stalking incidents.

So why did Stirling contact a private investigator instead of the police? DeLu explained his services are typically needed because there are a lot of law enforcement agencies that refuse to serve stalkers with stay-away orders out of fear of being attacked and harmed.

As a result, few people are willing to address stalkers, and that is where private investigators come in. Per TMZ, the man bothering Stirling raised numerous red flags because of his past links to Swift, whom he has allegedly been obsessed with for over a year.

Unfortunately, this is not the "Bad Blood" singer's first stalker incident, as she made waves just days earlier for being harassed at her New York City apartment. She has been spending much time at the residence since she is on a hiatus from her international Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift has been turning heads in NYC from frequent restaurant appearances to spending time in town with her friends. However, these outings seemed to have caught her stalker's attention, who allegedly tried to access Swift's home after lurking around her apartment building for weeks.

According to a spokesperson for the New York Police Department, a "disorderly person" was reported on Franklin Street. When police arrived on the scene, they "were informed that the individual attempted to open a door to a building at the location."

Authorities did not identify the individual, nor did they confirm if he was trying to get into the singer's residence. However, eyewitnesses shared the behind-the-scenes details with one source noting the culprit did not resist arrest.

"It was all pretty civil. He didn't resist. There was no yelling or anything," the individual explained. "I first saw him around 1 p.m. — he went up to Taylor's door. I'm not sure if he knocked or rang the doorbell."

Another eyewitness explained the man had been "lurking here for a month." He was reportedly "sleeping on the stoop, chain-smoking constantly, shouting, and generally making everyone uncomfortable."

Taylor Swift's neighbor recalled the stalker arrived before Christmas and was confronted by her husband. "My husband asked what he was doing here, and he said, 'I want to see Taylor,'" the source revealed. "He even had flowers at one point."

The neighbor claimed they called authorities "many times;" however, the police department refused to take action. They allegedly noted that they couldn't do anything until the man tried to get into the building physically.

"I asked him to leave this morning, and he just stared at me, catatonic," the source continued, describing Swift's alleged stalker as a "total nutcase." As for the singer, it was confirmed she was in NYC at the time of the incident, but it was unclear if she was at home.
