Lindsay Lohan’s Mom Dina Lohan Pleads Not Guilty To DWI Charge, Ready To Fight Case

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan has entered a plea of not guilty after being arrested on suspicion of DWI but believes the charges will be dismissed.

According to local reports, Dina and her lawyer Mark Heller went before a judge on Sunday morning. She entered her plea and will return to court later this month.

On Saturday, Dina reportedly was leaving an Outback Steak House around 7pm in New York. She was driving a 2016 Mercedes when she allegedly hit another car while backing up. Dina is accused of driving away from the scene but the women of the other car chased her down.

The other driver reportedly drove all the way to Dina’s home in Long Island, where cops then arrived to the scene. She reportedly refused to take any sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI, leaving the scene of an accident and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Back in 2013, Dina faced similar charges but she avoided any jail time. She was sentenced to a one-year driver's license suspension and had to pay a $2,600 fine.

Sources close to Dina tell The Blast, she is ready to fight the charges when she is back in court on January 15. She believes all the charges will be dismissed once the evidence is reviewed.

According to Newsday, Dina “pleaded not guilty Sunday morning at her arraignment in First District Court in Hempstead and released, the spokesman said. She is due back in court Jan. 15.”
