Lindsay Lohan FINALLY Gives The World New Music, Drops Song 'Xanax'

Lindsay Lohan has dropped the teaser for her new song, the first music she’s released in over a decade.

The song “Xanax” was released on an episode of The Kris Fade Show on Virgin Dubai Radio. The host only previewed 30 seconds of Lilo’s song but it was worth the 10 years of waiting.

Lohan was not on the show but the host talked about her new music. He said, “It's about anxiety and pressure and just taking care of yourself … And I think that's really, really cool. I think there's a really cool message behind it."

In the song, Lohan talks about a lover who she compares to the anti-anxiety medication. In the dance song she sings, “But you’re like Xanax to me. When you kiss me I can’t breathe. I try to stay away from you, but you get me high. Only person in this town that I like. Guess I can take one more trip for the night. Just for the night.

The lyrics continue, “Only one reason I came here. Too many people, I can’t hear. Damn, I got here at 10.”

The host said he has listened to the full song and called it “unbelievable”.

Lohan has been teasing new music for months, posting on social media photos of her in the studio.

Last month, she posted a photo from inside Republic Records captioned,“@republicrecords@casablancarecords #

"Xanax" appears to be in the same vein as Lohan's classic hit songs. Lohan has released two studio albums 2004’s ‘Speak’ and 2005’s “A Little More Personal (Raw)”.

She broke out in music with the song "Rumors", where she sang about wanting everyone to back up.

Her next massive hit was “Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father), which detailed her complicated relationship with her father.

The last music we heard from her was 2008’s “Bossy”, which was produced by Ne-Yo.

We are SO here for Lilo's music resurgence.

The actress is currently a judge on “Masked Singer Australia”
