Lindsay Hubbard Slams ‘Gross’ Carl Radke Comment
Both parties continue to comment on Summer House Season 8, as it rolls out continuous drama between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke. It was suggested multiple times that watching Season 8 would clarify everything about their break up. And the hit reality TV series has delivered on that promise.
Lately, the former betrothed couple has been arguing about Carl’s next career move. Carl was upset that Lindsay wasn’t softer in her reaction to his decision to return to Kyle Cooke’s company. Meanwhile, the Hubb House owner felt she was simply asking relevant questions.
As Carl sought out affirmation from Kyle about his perspective, he revealed his and Lindsay’s income disparity in the influencer domain. Spoiler alert, she made a lot more than him.
Lindsay credits her success to being “driven”
At the time Summer House was filmed, Carl claimed to have made $70k “doing paid posts” as part of brand deals. He then stated his then-fiance made $150,000 for roughly the same work.
On the May 21 episode of Bitch Bible podcast, Lindsay called Carl out for sharing the details of their finances. She also corrected her ex-fiance on his over-inflated numbers.
“When I saw that conversation play out, I was like, first of all, that is not true. He did not make $70,000,” she dished.
Meanwhile, one of Carl’s “biggest” deals was one that she managed.
“I was the one who created the whole vision. I was the one that negotiated the whole thing, put the reel together, edited the reel, [and], like, guided the whole thing. And then I just basically asked him to be a collaborator,” the former PR professional explained.
Lindsay just “couldn’t believe that [Carl] disclosed” their earnings, then put her down for earning more because of being female. She called the comment “gross,” and challenged him on his line of thinking.
On the recent episode of Summer House, the Bravolebrity claimed “he [doesn’t] earn as much” because “I’m not a woman [and] I don’t have as many followers.”
“It’s like, okay, well, do you know how many male-dominating jobs there are in this world that women have had to fight to compete [for]? … Just let us have this one!” Lindsay responded. “He’s like, ‘Well she makes more ’cause she’s a woman…’ no, I make more because I’m driven and go out there and push to make more.”
