Linda Evangelista Hits the Red Carpet for a Rare Public Appearance With Her 17-Year-Old Son

Linda Evangelista turned her latest red carpet appearance into a family affair.
This week, the supermodel attended the 2024 Groundbreaker Awards Dinner during Design on a Dime 2024, where she brought along a very special plus-one: her 17-year-old son, Augustin James Evangelista.
Linda, 58, sweetly held hands with her teenage son as the pair posed for the cameras at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City on Wednesday, April 24.
The Canadian-born model was dressed in all black for the outing, wearing a partially sheer long-sleeve button-up blouse that she tucked into a black floor-length skirt.
For his part, her son cleaned up in a classic suit jacket over a crisp white collared shirt.

The runway star shares Augustin with her ex, French businessman François-Henri Pinault, who is now married to actress Salma Hayek.
This past fall, Augustin showed up to support his dad and step-mom at the second annual Caring for Women Dinner, where he also walked the red carpet with his famous fashion model mom.
At the time, Linda and Augustin were photographed wearing matching black dress suits and white shirts for the event, which raised money for organizations fighting violence against women.
Just recently, Linda opened up about her experience with domestic violence, alleging in the Apple TV+ docuseries The Super Models that her ex-husband, Gérald Marie, had abused her during their marriage.
Gérald, the former head of Elite Model Management's Paris office, married Linda in 1987, when she was just 22 and he was 37. The pair later divorced in 1993.
Linda explained her reasoning for coming forward about the alleged abuse she suffered years later was because of the statements shared by dozens of other women in 2020 who also accused Gérald of sexual misconduct and rape. His lawyer denied all accusations against him, People reported at the time.
