Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst reminds everyone he is not Robert Durst

When alleged murderer Robert Durst’s name became a household one the past month thanks to his starring role in HBO documentary series The Jinx, some people mixed him up with another famous Durst: Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, who made a hoodie with “NOT ROBERT” written on the front to clear up any confusion about his identity.

While most of the Fred and Robert confusion exists in the form of jokes and honest mix-ups on Twitter, a more trusted source also made the mistake of getting the two confused: The Associated Press. The news outlet reported that Robert was the “former Limp Bizkit frontman” and later issued a correction specifying that Robert “is a real estate heir; Fred Durst is the former frontman of Limp Bizkit.”

Make that current frontman of Limp Bizkit: The band is currently on tour until late November.
