'Breaking Bad' Movie Coming Oct. 11

The upcoming "Breaking Bad" sequel movie called El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will soon receive a limited theatrical release.

It's scheduled for release Oct. 11 with screenings in Chicago, New York, LA and Albuquerque.

Jesse Pinkman, Skinny Pete Return

The movie will also appear next year on AMC, where "Breaking Bad" first aired.

El Camino will see the return of Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman, Matt L. Jones as Badger and Charles Baker as Skinny Pete.

Pushing Ahead

Rolling Stone writes that the movie begins as the last episode of the TV show ended -- Pinkman leaving in an El Camino after (spoiler) Bryan Cranston's character, Walter White, frees Pinkman from the meth lab.

Here's a quick synopsis of the film: “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”

Aaron Paul 'Lived And Breathed' the Role

Paul spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about playing Jesse Pinkman again:

“It was so easy for me to just jump into where Jesse’s at mentally, emotionally, because I lived and breathed everything he went through and then some, and so, honestly, it felt like a part of me had gone through that as well."

“All I had to do was just memorize these words and then play them out when they yelled ‘action.’ ”
