More from Deadline

Plot details are under wraps, but A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is described as an imaginative tale of two strangers and the extraordinary emotional journey that connects them.

Rabe most recently was seen in David E. Kelley’s Love and Death on Max alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons and Patrick Fugit, and she also appeared in Bill Lawrence’s Shrinking for Apple TV+ opposite Jason Segel and Harrison Ford. Rabe recently made her directorial debut with Downtown Owl, which she co-directed, produced and stars in with her partner Hamish Linklater. The film world premiered at Tribeca last year and will be released April 23 by Sony/Stage 6.

She will next be seen in Kelley’s Presumed Innocent for Apple TV+, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga. She also recently wrapped production on Michael Cristofer’s feature Places, Please opposite Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Pierce Brosnan.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey marks a reunion for Turner-Smith, Kogonada and Farrell, who worked together on A24’s After Yang. Most recently, Turner-Smith starred in Noah Baumbach’s White Noise, along with Murder Mystery 2 and the final season of Sex Education — all for Netflix. Upcoming projects include starring roles in the Disney+ Star Wars series The Acolyte and Apple TV+’s Bad Monkey. She is in production on Tron: Ares, slated for release in 2025.

Waller-Bridge won three Emmys for writing, producing and starring in the BBC 3/Amazon series Fleabag, along with two Golden Globes, two Critics Choice Awards, SAG Award and a BAFTA Television Award. She recently starred opposite Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and voiced a role in John Krasinski’s upcoming live-action/animated fantasy comedy IF, which Paramount releases in theaters May 17. She is writing and developing a new series for Prime Video based on the video game-turned-action movie Tomb Raider.

Rabe is repped by WME, Sugar23 and Johnson, Shapiro, Slewett & Kole. Turner-Smith is repped by UTA, 111 Media and Johnson Shapiro. Waller-Bridge is repped by UTA, Independent Talent, McEwan & Penford and Johnson Shapiro.
