Lily Allen is going back to her roots as she heads back across the pond!

On Friday, the British singer, 38, shared a photo on Instagram of herself at an airport. She rocked the same mid-length bob she's had in recent images she's shared on social media while in New York City, but her hair color was a dark shade of brunette instead of the red hair she's worn since September 2023.

"Heading home for mummy’s birthday," the "Smile" singer wrote in the caption of the post. "We won’t be getting Chinese, my sister's cooking, and we won’t be watching TV because she’ll be on Facebook."

The "Hard Out Here" singer changes her hair color often, but she hasn't been a brunette in a long time.

In November 2023, she even changed up her shade of red and her hair length, brightening the color to a hue that can only be described as fiery and adding extensions.

The change in Allen's hairstyle coincides with her announcement on Instagram on Thursday that her 2008 album, It's Not Me It's You, is being re-pressed for Record Store Day on April 20. Allen had longer hair on the album cover, but the color was similar to her latest shade of brown.

"It’s real!!!!! Liccle Repress coming on April 20th for @recordstoreday. Can you believe this album is 15 years old?" she wrote in a caption of a post announcing the re-press.

"5 houses, 3 children and two husbands later, I am still here, well, I’m in America now but I’m writing away, and hopefully will have something new for you to listen to soon. Keep your eyes peeled," she wrote, teasing new music.
