Lil Yachty, Lil Nas X Attend Yves Saint Laurent Men’s Beauty Event During NYFW

New York Fashion Week isn’t all about the ladies, as plenty of gents with style attended the Yves Saint Laurent Men’s Beauty event Thursday night (Sept. 6), one of several events setting off the week of style.

Lil Nas X was in attendance, as the “Industry Baby” artist  joined forces with YSL Beauty in August 2022 as the brand’s first rapper spokesperson due to him “challenging societal conventions, embracing fearless self-expression, and inspiring the future generation with his edgy approach to identity,” according to Laetitia Raoust, YSL Beauté’s U.S. General Manager.

“Since the beginning of last year, my partnership with YSL Beauté has been about pushing the beauty boundaries and embracing individuality,” X said about the partnership this June. “With this new campaign, we’re exploring my many faces & personalities through five different makeup looks that gave me the chance to experiment with my makeup in a more artistic way. I hope we can inspire the future generation to do the same.”

Fellow rapper Lil Yachty was also in attendance and performed, which should come as no surprise to fans of the artist whose song, “SaintLaurentYSL” is dedicated to the high fashion brand.
