Lil Wayne has been sued for assault and battery, The Blast reports.

Wayne’s former bodyguard alleges that the rapper used an assault rifle to threaten him. The bodyguard, né Carlos Christian, also claimed his former client punched him in the head and ear. Legal documents also recall a particular incident that allegedly transpired two years ago.

Christian alleges he found Wayne holding an assault rifle after he opened a bathroom door, TMZ reported. Carlos claims that incidents like this left him with post-traumatic stress disorder.

He also asserted that he was “harmed, including without limitation sustaining a physical and emotional injury, incurring medical bills, and losing immediate wages and having his earning capacity reduced.” Additionally, the documents claim that the New Orleans artist “engaged in outrageous conduct, specifically, erratically threatening, assaulting, and battering [him] while holding a semiautomatic rifle.”

PageSix reports that Lil Wayne has denied all the allegations through a spokesperson. The rapper also added that he didn’t own a gun during the time Carlos claimed the assault transpired.

Elsewhere, Offset is currently facing a lawsuit for assault, as well. According to Radar OnlineSet was reportedly sued for his alleged involvement in an altercation at ComplexCon 2021.

The outlet reports that a man named Daveon Clark is suing the rapper as well as YRN Murk, for assault, battery, international infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. In the lawsuit, Clark claims he was a private security guard during the convention and details allegations that YRN Murk spat on him after being denied entry to the event.

As other guards pushed Murk, he hit Clark and amidst the chaos, Offset “struck” him as well. Additionally, Clark is claiming that he sustained both physical and mental injuries following the alleged assault, and is currently seeking unspecified damages.

Despite the lawsuit, the rapper previously claimed he just “stepped in to break up a fight.”
