Lil Reese Catches Heat For Encouraging Humiliation Of A Man On The Street

Chicago rapper, Lil Reese, has found himself in the hot seat after recording a video of his friends humiliating a man sleeping on the streets.
A clip from Reese’s Instagram Live — caught by DJ Akademiks — shows a group of people walking with the “He Say, She Say” rapper, as someone pours liquid on a random man lying on the ground.
“Get his a**, get his a**. Put that bi**h on his head, put that bi**h on his head. F**k him!” yelled someone with the rapper as he continued to record. The shocked nameless man on the street responded, “Don’t do that, man! That ain’t right, man!”

Reese posted the now-deleted video on his IG Story and captioned it with laughing emojis.
The footage quickly made its rounds on social media, causing a heap of backlash for the 30-year-old. His comment section on a feed post immediately became flooded with disdain for his actions, and not using his platform for positivity in that moment.
“Aye you a certified goofy f**kn wit the homeless ain’t no real n***as on that timing,” commented one person as another said, “You are too blessed to be doing what you did to the unfortunate, sh*t’s lame as hell.”
Referring to a time when Lil Reese allegedly defecated on himself while getting into a fight, one person said, “Lil feces mistreating an elderly Black homeless [man], that’s a shocker!!” as another wrote, “Lil Sh*tty out here f**king with homeless people, as if the Lord didn’t spare your f**ked up life already.”
Reese has not addressed the clip of him and his friends humiliating a man on the street as of publication.
The rapper’s past hasn’t always been a positive one. Back in 2012, now-deleted video footage surfaced of the drill rapper fighting the mother of his child. “The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh*t from years ago damnn we winnin it’s 2 late…#3hunna,” he tweteed at the time.
After receiving backlash then, he followed his initial tweet with an apology.
“Everybody makes mistakes I was out of character & I’ve grown sense then Dont judge me for my past i can admit my wrongs and I apologize. #3hunna.”
However in 2021, he was accused again of abusing his girlfriend, in addition to a family member in the following month, HipHopDX reported.
According to TMZ, Reese was arrested on Saturday (May 29) after police were called to his home with reports of an altercation. Upon arrival, they discovered Reese’s girlfriend with a visible cut on her lip. The woman claimed Reese pulled her hair and punched her in the face with a closed fist, causing an abrasion on her lower lip.
Police immediately took him into custody, but he was later released after posting $10,000 bond.
At the time he responded to Furious TV, saying, “That sh*t was fake. That was just an argument going on. Someone seen us arguing and called the police, so when the police came they already knew who I was. So they were like, ‘Aight, we finna just lock him up.’”
