Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' Lands Spot on The Obama's Summer Playlist

Lil Nas X's streak isn't over yet because he just landed on the most iconic summer playlist yet!

Former President Barack Obama released a list of the songs he jams out with alongside his wife, Michelle, on Saturday and rounding out the top 40 is "Old Town Road."

Barack shared the hit list on Saturday.

"With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow," he wrote on Instagram. "Hope you enjoy. "

Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road (Remix)" with Billy Ray Cyrus has been the song of the summer and continues to be a fan favorite.

The duo are expected to hit it big during Monday's VMAs.

Their song is nominated for 8 awards, including song of the year.

Lil Nas X is also nominated for best new artist.

Stars Love 'Old Town Road'

The Obamas aren't the only A-listers who love "Old Town Road."

Cyrus' daughter, Miley Cyrus, has promoted the single all summer.

Tons of celebrities have made their own videos dancing to the remix, including Halsey and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West.

The #1 on Obama's List

Taking Barack and Michelle's top spot on their summer playlist is Drake and Rihanna's hit, "Too Good."

The former first couple's close friends Beyoncé and Jay-Z made the cut too.

Slipping into the third slot is the famous duo's "MOOD 4 Eva" single with Childish Gambino and Oumou Sangaré.

Lizzo Made The Cut

Also, making the list is Lizzo's "Juice," which slipped into the 6th spot.

Summer's It-Girl definitely deserves acknowledgment on the Obama's playlist.

Lizzo will be facing off Lil Nas X for best new artist during Monday's VMAs.
