Lil Nas X and Camila Cabello stopped by Heart WeHo in Los Angeles on Friday night. The two stars went edgy in footwear for the stop.
Cabello and Nas X are promoting their single together. They released “He Knows” and played it for the crowd at the gay club before Cabello went to pick up pizza. “He Knows” will appear on Cabello’s new album, “C,XOXO.”
Cabello’s shoes were leather cowboy boots. The shoes featured a pointed toe and a stiletto heel. The silhouette featured side zips for convenience in putting the knee-high shoes on. The boots also had a distinctive, seemingly spray-painted design. The images seemingly depict the silhouettes of women dancing on poles, as well as stars above them.
Lil Nas X opted for a pair of long-haired boots. Seemingly inspired by Yeti boots, the oversized styles were bulky and covered in blond strands. They nod to a style that Doja Cat recently wore to Coachella.
The rapper is a fan of attention-grabbing footwear. He recently wore a pair of hand-embellished shoes to the 2024 Met Gala. For that annual event, he was styled by Matthew Mazur. Mazur commissioned the New York City-based brand Syro to create a custom version of its OXXX style.
The OXXX features a massive, curved block heel as well as a chunky platform. The boot also includes large visible stitching, mimicking that of a baseball. The company currently sells three versions of that shoe — in Bone, Saddle and Coal — on its website for $249. To customize it, Mazur had the company encrust the surfaces with 23,000 Swarovski crystals.
