The city of Honolulu in Hawaii plunged into a blackout on March 10, with nearly 20,000 households losing power.
Footage taken by @theparadisco shows lights shutting off across the city following a lighting strike.
Hawaii Electricity reported approximately 19,590 customers without power in the Kahala, Kapahulu, Palolo, Waikiki, Manoa, and Moiliili areas on March 10, as well as 860 customers without power in the Kahuku area.
