TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Bay Lightning goalie, Andrei Vasilevskiy, purchased a Ballast Point Area home for $8.5 million, according to public property records.

The two-story single-family residence, located at 5718 South Gordon Avenue, is a 5-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom bayfront home with 5,196 square feet, the listing shows.

Listing agents Jennifer and Lexie Zales described the home as the “perfect and private coastal escape,” sitting on a full acre of land.

Some features unique to the home include a massive kitchen island, a walk-in pantry, dual vanities and water closets, an office space, and a 3-car garage. The outdoor space features a kitchen and dining area, a fireplace, a waterfront IPE deck, a reinforced and recapped seawall, a pool, and a spa.

The lot was last sold in 2016, with the home being built in 2018, Hillsborough County property records show.

According to a warrant deed filed on Wednesday, the sellers, Ronald and Kristin Patrick, signed over the home to Vasilevskiy, on April 12.
