Liam Neeson and Stephen Colbert Make 'Candy Crush' Movie

The company that makes Candy Crush Saga was recently purchased for $5.9 billion by Activision, which has been developing films based on its game franchises. On Tuesday, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert created a clip called “Candy Crush: The Movie,” starring Liam Neeson. Neeson played a candy father who had been impaled by a candy cane. In the touching scene, Liam admitted to his son, Stephen, “I know I haven’t been the best father. There were walls between us. Beautiful, shiny walls of jelly beans … and no matter how many times I tried to break down those walls, there’d be a new level.” Sadly, Stephen was unresponsive, as he’d been playing a game on his phone during the speech. In the end, Liam died, but Stephen proclaimed, “Your legacy shall live forever, for I shall share your high score on Facebook.”
