A Rough Split
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus splitting for good has been one of the biggest celebrity gossip stories of the year. When the two split due to "irreconcilable differences," they claimed that they were "dedicated parents to all of their animals they share" and Hemsworth posted on Instagram that he wished her "nothing but health and happiness going forward."
However, things got a little more contentious when Cyrus immediately started dating Kaitlynn Carter and then Cody Simpson, who she is currently in a relationship with.
Finding Love Again
While Hemsworth has been lying low as opposed to Cyrus posting constantly on Instagram, but he has definitely been dipping his toe back into the dating pool . The actor has been seen out and about with fellow Aussie actress Maddison Brown.
An alleged source told In Touch that Hemsworth was "totally over Miley and the drama and is in a really good place," but that he got "some thrill out of knowing it must burn Miley to see him with Maddsion. Miley hurt Liam, plain and simple. So there’s a lot of resentment there."
She's Keeping Things Quiet
Brown, who stars in the CW's Dynasty, was asked about the relationship in an interview with Confidential. Instead of dishing on Hemsworth and whatever their relationship status is, Brown shut down the interviewer in a firm and direct manner.
"I’m not answering that question. My rule is not talking about my personal life."
She Just Wants Her Privacy
However, Brown continued, explaining that she understood the fascination that people had with celebrity gossip.
"But again, I can understand it from an objective point of view why people are interested and again, it’s not really in my day-to-day reality. I understand it, it’s human nature. Everyone wants gossip. It doesn’t really bother me too much I don’t really pay attention to it. I’ve been pretty consistent with maintaining my privacy. I’ve made it clear that I would like to be private."
It doesn't seem like this couple will be hitting a red carpet together anytime soon, but hopefully Hemsworth is having some fun after heartbreak.
