After 10 years of on-again-off-again dating and less than a year of marriage, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus split for good in August after Hemsworth filed for divorce. The two didn't have children but said in a statement that they were committed to being "dedicated parents to all of their animals they share."
Different Approaches
Since their breakup, Cyrus has been hitting the dating scene, immediately jumping into a month long fling with Kaitlynn Carter. The two were hot and heavy, but the relationship ran its course quickly and the two allegedly "remain friends."
Cyrus is currently dating actor Cody Simpson and has encouraged the public to not jump to conclusions about her dating life. She also pointed out that women are slutshamed for actions that would earn a man praise, so they should just let her "get an açaí bowl and a make out in peace."
Is He Ready To Move On?
Hemsworth has been keeping a lower profile, but a source told Radar that he isn't bothered by Cyrus's recent dating habits.
"He really doesn’t care anymore. She’s free to do what she likes; Liam is done with her. I don’t know if this is her way of trying to get back at him, but he made his decision."
According to a new update from Us Weekly, Hemsworth is open to the idea of dating again.
"He hasn’t been dating anyone, but he’s open to meeting people."
