Liam Gallagher Will Take 'Definitely, Maybe' on Tour

This isn't a drill, people: Definitely, Maybe is turning 30 years old. Oasis's debut album has a big birthday coming up, and Liam Gallagher is ready to celebrate. Over the weekend, Gallagher announced that he would perform the record on tour. So grab your sunglasses and a tracksuit, because we’re going back to 1994.

Next summer, Gallagher has a series of performances in the UK and Ireland. Naturally, he decided to dedicate them to the album that launched his career. “I’m bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe tour,” Gallagher said. “The most important album of the 90s bare none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together.” The tour will run from June 2 to June 27, and ticket sales begin on Friday, October 20.

As for his band members? Well, their attendance is up in the air. The Guardian reports that Paul Arthurs (otherwise known as Bonehead), will likely join Gallagher on tour. Arthurs recently battled tonsil cancer, but he is in recovery. Gallagher’s brother, Noel, hasn’t confirmed if he’ll join the show. Of course, Noel and Liam infamously fought before Oasis played at the 2009 Rock en Sien Festival—and they haven’t performed together since.

Fear not, because all hope isn’t lost. In August, Noel said he’d join an Oasis reunion during a live Q&A. “Hair was a thing in Oasis, so we’ll have to see what everybody’s hair is looking like,” he joked. “I’m in no matter what.” When asked who would participate, Gallagher said, “Me, Liam, and a load of fucking fit birds.”

Perhaps the power of Definitely Maybe will bring the band back together. The record was the fastest-selling British album upon its release, and it still holds up as a rock masterpiece.
