Let Mariah Carey Be the First to Give You Anxiety Over Your Christmas Shopping

There are 40 days until Christmas — a fact we weren’t aware of until we saw Mariah Carey celebrating the holiday.

The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” songstress, who is obsessed with the holiday, started getting festive and bright over the weekend with her kids, Roc and Roe. The newly single Mimi — rocking a navy evening gown, as she does, and heels — posed with the twins and one of her many Jack Russell terriers in front of a super elaborate outdoor Christmas display including Santa and his reindeer, a snowman, candy canes, and more reindeer.

“Tis the season (early) ????

“‘Tis the season (early),” she wrote with a Christmas tree emoji.

Mariah also posted a video of the twins saying, “Merry Christmas.” She corrected them, saying, “It’s not even Thanksgiving yet.” Roc started jumping around and yelling, “Thanksgiving, then it’s Christmas!” cause clearly the entire family loves the holiday.

First comes #thanksgiving and thennn it’s #christmas

Mariah goes big for Christmas, decorating all of her homes, whether she’s in Aspen or New York City. Santa Claus is known to visit her abodes — and even brings along his reindeer.

This year, she has a made-for-TV holiday movie, A Christmas Melody, that she directed and stars in, which premieres Dec. 19 on Hallmark Channel. She will also have her third annual “All I Want For Christmas Is You” tour at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on select dates from Dec. 5 until Dec. 17.

The way things stand now, James Packer won’t be included in her holiday plans. Her engagement to the billionaire businessman is off and Mariah, who has been wrapping up her The Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour, which concludes Nov. 26, has been spending time with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, though it’s unclear if it’s romantic or she’s just playing games. (Our guess? Games.)

Over the weekend, another of Packer’s exes, Kate Fischer, to whom he was also engaged, penned an open letter to Mariah with relationship advice. Fisher (who now goes by Tziporah Malkah) said, “My advice to you is, if you really want him back play the game, let him make the key decisions and you may well live happily ever after as Mariah Carey Packer,”

We don’t think Mariah needs relationship advice from that lady. We’re sure if she really wanted to win him back, a sexy serenade of “All I Want for Christmas Is You” could do the trick.
