Lessons and carols services set for Sunday at Berks churches [Religion Digest]

Dec. 30----St. John's Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, will have a service of lessons and carols on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. A free drive-thru takeout meal will be available today from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

—Epler's Church United Church of Christ, 1151 W. Leesport Road, Bern Township, will hold a hymn sing and carols with special music on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

—Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County, will hold a service of lessons and carols on Sunday at 9 a.m. Coffee & Conversation will be held at 8:30 and 10 in the Welcome Center.

—Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Road, Exeter Township, will have a service of lessons and carols on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

—The Legend of the Christmas Tree will be presented during Sunday's at 10:15 a.m. service at United Church of Christ of Robesonia, 301 W. Penn Ave., Robesonia. The Addiction and Recovery in Faith Group will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. at 4326 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. Call the Rev. Jack Abel at 610-413-4159 for details.
