Leslie Grossman is saying goodbye to her father, LA powerhouse attorney Marshall Grossman.

In an Instagram post shared Wednesday, Leslie, 51, announced her father’s death with a sweet note about his role as a parent. “We said goodbye to my dad Marshall Grossman after a long battle with Parkinson’s,” the What I Like About You alum wrote. “He was a legend in his work and his philanthropy but he always always always put his family first. I will forever feel grateful and lucky he was my father.”

Leslie included a carousel of photos alongside her loving statement. The first showed her kissing her father on the cheek, while subsequent photos featured their happy family life. Smiles at the dinner table, pool time, and even a photo of Leslie dancing with her father at what seemed to be her wedding.

“Something that has brought me great comfort is knowing that nothing was left unsaid between me and my dad,” she wrote. “He knew how much I loved him and I knew how much he loved me.”

Another slide applauded the “head of hair” Marshall had even in his later years, with Leslie calling it the “most incredible head of hair known to man.” She also shared his drink of choice — Crown Royal on the rocks —  for anyone who wants to “have one in his honor.”

Marshall died earlier this week at age 84. Throughout his career as a powerhouse Los Angeles attorney, he worked with a lengthy list of celebrity clients as well as household corporations. Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, J.K. Rowling, Billy Bush, Mariah Carey, Apple Computer, Netflix and Blockbuster are just a small handful of Marshall’s clients. He also represented Erin Andrews when the sportscaster was non-consensually photographed nude through a hotel room door. He won the ESPN presenter a $55 million judgment.

Another notable win in Marshall’s career was for the Agudas Chasidei Chabad when he won the right to recover religious texts from the Russian Federation, which had been snatched during World War II.

For over 25 years, Marshall was listed as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” by Chambers Global and Chambers USA.
