Lesa Milan Shares a Surprising Update on Her Friendship with Chanel Ayan

Chanel Ayan loves Lesa Milan so much, she once brought her a goat as a gift on The Real Housewives of Dubai. But following filming for Season 2, Lesa is dropping hints at BravoCon 2023 that her friendship with Chanel is no longer smooth sailing.

Lesa and Chanel have hit a rough patch in Dubai, Lesa revealed during a "Housewives In Every City" live interview at BravoCon 2023.

“Listen, I love Chanel Ayan," Lesa said. "I’ll always love her. Just like most relationships, we’re going through something right now. But let’s see — time will tell if we’ll be back to being the dynamic duo.”

Ubah Hassan of The Real Housewives of New York City chimed in on the Dubai friendship during the live interview, adding, "I can second that: They do love each other very much."

Chanel Ayan's Advice for Ubah Hassan Ahead of BravoCon 2023

Ubah and Chanel are actually cousins, and of course made time to hang out with each other at BravoCon. During the hang, Chanel once again gave Ubah some advice.

“We hung out yesterday and I didn’t bring any jewelry, and I didn’t have any gowns," Ubah shared at the live interview. "She texted me the night before and said, ‘Do not embarrass me.’ And I’m here without a gown. So basically I had a designer send me stuff at like 9 p.m.”

Chanel memorably brought her fashion A-game to BravoCon 2022 as she slayed in a bright green glittering ball gown during a "war of reads."

"She’s walking couture…but also anything she wears she looks really good,” model Ubah said of her model cousin.

Lisa Barlow of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City admired the family resemblance at the live interview, adding, "You have good genes."
