At this point, it's safe to say that our boy Leonardo DiCaprio has earned his spot in Hollywood history. He's an Oscar-winning actor, a red-carpet mainstay, and, this month, the star of Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood. That's not even close to a complete portrait—but it's enough.

Nevertheless, at the premier of his newest movie this week, DiCaprio added yet another entry to his long list of achievements: expert sunglasses-wearer.

As it turns out, the extremely stylish eyewear he had perched on his famous mug was inspired by yet another Hollywood legend: Cary Grant. The shades were made by Oliver Peoples, and they were created in collaboration with Grant's estate to pay homage to his iconic look in North by Northwest.

The movie itself is 60 years old at this point, but the look of those sunglasses is downright timeless. So when Leo rolled up to the red carpet wearing them, it was hard not to notice. Just rounded enough, with subtle details that play against the bolder, thicker frame, they're the kind of shades pretty much any guy looks great in (and that goes double if you're an actual movie star). Plus, the polarized lenses mean they'll keep your eyes happy when the sun's beating down this summer.

The price-point puts them in investment-level territory, but if you're in the market for a pair of sunglasses that'll look just as good in a few decades as they do right now, these have already proven they're more than up for the task. Wear 'em like Cary—or like Leo. Either way, you can't go wrong.
