Leonard Roberts Joins TNT’s ‘Major Crimes’ As Recurring
Leonard Roberts (American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson) has joined the cast of TNT’s drama series Major Crimes. The key role is recurring for Season 5 with an option to become a regular if the series is picked up for a sixth season.
Roberts will play Commander Leo Mason. Handsome, intelligent and charismatic, Mason heads up the Criminal Intelligence Division of the LAPD and, along with Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell), is being considered for the job of New Assistant Chief.
Major Crimes centers on a special unit of Los Angeles Police Department whose detectives responsible for investigating high-profile crimes.
Roberts played Dennis Schatzman in Emmy-winning People v. O.J. Simpson and most recently appeared in indie Love Is All You Need. He’s repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency and Zero Gravity Management.
