Their smooth familial life is interrupted after Parthi kills a robber named Shanmughan as a way to protect his daughter, and consequently earns the latter’s family’s wrath. As protection, a high-ranking police officer from Tamil Nadu, Antony, is sent to Parthi’s house. Antony tells him a major secret about his identity that ensues a series of troubles.

Vijay plays Parthi. Other cast members include Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Menon, George Maryan, and Mansoor Ali Khan, to name a few.
