‘Lego Masters’ Nabs Early Season 5 Renewal at Fox

Fox is putting another brick in its 2024-25 schedule.

The network has ordered a fifth season of its competition series Lego Masters — two weeks ahead of the show’s fourth-season premiere on Sept. 28. Fox has also picked up a third edition of Lego Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular to air late next year. Will Arnett hosts and executive produces both shows.

“With Will Arnett at the helm, Lego Masters has become a foundational property of Fox’s robust unscripted slate and a fast-growing franchise on our schedule,” said Allison Wallach, president of unscripted programming at Fox Entertainment. “This upcoming season is its biggest yet, with the most amazing brick challenges and creative builders ever, and we are delighted to reward Will, Endemol Shine North America, Tuesday’s Child, Plan B Entertainment and the Lego Group with this milestone season five renewal to give fans more incredible Lego builds.”

Lego Masters is part of an unscripted-heavy fall lineup on Fox, as the network is leaning on its alternative division to fill out primetime as writers and actors remain on strike. The network has also set dates (Dec. 18 and 19) for the second Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular, with NeNe Leakes, Marshawn Lynch, Kelly Osbourne and Rob Riggle teaming with past Lego Masters contestants for holiday-themed challenges.

Arnett executive produces Lego Masters with Pip Wells; Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre and Michael Heyerman from Endemol Shine North America; Karen Smith and Steph Harris of Tuesday’s Child; Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner of Plan B; and Jill Wilfert and Robert May from the Lego Group.

Sept. 14, 10:58 a.m. An earlier version of this story misstated the Lego Masters premiere date.
