LEGO Masters” returns September 28, 2023 on FOX for season 4. Hosted by actor and executive producer Will Arnett, “LEGO Masters” brings imagination, design and creativity to life when teams of LEGO enthusiasts go head-to-head, with infinite possibilities and an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks. Brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard serve as judges and gave Gold Derby’s senior editor Denton Davidson the inside scoop.

“No matter how wild the challenges, and believe me, they get wilder in Season 4 than they’ve ever been, the teams are excited to build and they come up with the wildest, craziest, most exciting ideas,” Amy says. Twelve sets of teams will battle it out for the chance to win a $100,000 cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy, the title of LEGO MASTERS and for the first time ever, the winning build will be turned into an actual LEGO set.

Jamie says of the contestants, “It’s actually really exciting that we can still find these groupings that we would have never imagined possible. For example, we have a grandfather and his grandson building on the show. It’s such a special and unique place to be. Of course we have siblings on the show, we have the parent and child, but it is quite a range. Of course it’s the stories that are from different generations that have come together that can really inspire some creative builds that we wouldn’t have imagined possible.”

In the thrilling season premiere, the daring duos embark on a mission to construct the ultimate motorized party boat–a masterpiece that not only showcases their unique personalities but also creates a splash in the all-new “Brick Lake” episode of “LEGO Masters” airing Thursday, September 28 (9:02-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The Brickmasters also share how they think they’d fare in the competition, what exciting challenges we can expect in Season 4 and what it’s like to work with host Will Arnett. Amy and Jamie also say the best build they’ve ever seen takes place this season — something that left them “completely shocked.” Jamie reveals, “There’s this one challenge that’s coming up this season that we were [about] and Will just looked at us like, ‘Is this really happening?’ To follow it through to the end, it’s genuinely the moment that I will — I can’t imagine in my career something else topping that. It was so beyond what I was expecting was even possible.”

The competing pairs who impress the judges the most will progress to the next round, until the finale, during which the top teams will face off for a $100,000 cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy and the grand title of LEGO Masters. For the first time in “LEGO Masters” history, the winning build will be transformed into a set and displayed at a LEGO flagship store. Meet the 12 teams competing this season below.
