Legendary Rapper Eric B. Joins Cast Of 'Blue Bloods'

Eric B of the legendary rap group Eric B and Rakim' has joined the cast of 'Blue Bloods,' and we have the first pictures of the rapper on set in his new role.

According to our sources, Eric B. will be joining the ranks as a police chief on the show.

As you can see from the photos, the rapper is playing a top cop will be teaming up with Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg to bring down the bad guys.

'Blue Bloods' follows the fictional Reagan family, who is an Irish Catholic family in New York City with a history in law enforcement. Selleck plays New York City Police Commissioner Frank Regan. The show is filmed on location in NYC and on some occasions in nearby suburbs.

Eric B isn't the first legendary rapper to hit the small screen as a cop. Ice T has busted sexual predators on 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' and LL Cool J stars in 'CSI.'

Eric B. & Rakim have been universally recognized as one of the premier DJ/MC teams in all of hip-hop. The duo broke up eventually and put out records as single artists.

But, in 2016, they announced they had reunited and were planning on going on tour. The group was amongst the finalist in 2011 for the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
