A Shop for Killers Episode 4: Kim Hye-Jun discovers more details about Jeong Jin-Man’s death

A Shop for Killers Episode 4 begins with Jeong Jin-Man in a courtroom. He was to reveal details about a supposed accused. From there, the scene shifted to moments after his grandmother’s funeral. He was with Ji-An when he received a phone call from Seung-Cheol, telling him that Bile was still alive. Sensing danger to Ji-An and his family, he left for the funeral house. However, a woman stopped him to use his phone as hers wasn’t working. But when he tried to leave, a truck attacked him from behind, and enemies started shooting at his car.

The scene then shifted to the present, that is, after Jin-Man’s supposed death. Both Ji-An and her friend, Bae Jung-Min, reached the underground shopping mall where they met Brother (Lee Tae-Young). Meanwhile, Min-Hye (Geum Hae-Na) battled with the attackers, attempting to kill Ji-An. Using a variety of tactics, she managed to kill each and every one of the attackers.

Brother introduced himself to Ji-An and asked her to handcuff Jung-Min. However, she attacked him instead, making him unconscious. Ji-An further reflected on a distant memory when she lost a friend named Min-Sook and a potential love interest due to her uncle’s behavior. She wanted to move out of the house, but Jin-Man put forth a condition. Only if she can hit him in the face would he allow her to move out of the house.

Initially, she wasn’t successful, and her efforts were in vain. Soon, Ji-An decided to take Pasin’s help to learn Muay Thai and then confront Jin-Man successfully. She hoped to hit her uncle like he wanted so she could move out of the house. After some hesitation, Pasin agreed in return for a significant amount of money as fees. From then on, Ji-An kept training with his help. Initially, she struggled to fight but gained strength over time.

One night, while returning home after buying groceries, Ji-An witnessed a couple of boys harassing Min-Sook. The latter ran away, but Ji-An was stuck to battle alone. Her training with Pasin helped her fight with the boys. However, when one of them pointed a knife at her, Jin-Man came to her rescue just in time. Min-Sook also reached the location with the police. Jin-Man then advised her to train harder so she could handle a knife.

The scene shifted to the current scene when Ji-An confronted Brother. She’d previously discovered hidden cameras all over her school, including her bathroom, which made her furious. Brother, meanwhile, asked her to deliver weapons to Min-Hye so the latter could protect them. He also revealed that he entered the house six days before her. But before he could speak further, Jung-Min stuffed his mouth with a cloth. Brother managed to escape but advised Ji-An to not trust Jung-Min.

While running behind Brother, Ji-An fell in the basement when she witnessed cameras. Through the cameras, Brother asked her if she was ready to take charge of the shopping mall. Ji-An agreed, and he let her up with him. He then revealed that Jin-Man died because of Jung-Min. From then on, Ji-An got stuck in the middle of the two men, Brother and Jung-Min, attacking each other. Brother further asked her to check a video camera, but Jung-Min made her trust him for a brief moment.

By the end of the episode, Ji-An asked Brother to deliver guns and medicine to Min-Hye. Meanwhile, Jung-Min hugged Ji-An only to tell her that he was the one who locked her up. He then sedated her and sat in front of the cameras. The episode ended with Ji-An asking Jung-Min’s real identity and the enemies discovering a new machine.
