LeBron James Sends a Special Message for ‘The Steve Harvey Show’ Season Premiere
NBA superstar LeBron James brought a championship to the city of Cleveland for the first time in 52 years when the Cavaliers won the NBA championship in June, ending a drought for Cleveland’s long-suffering fans. Steve Harvey, a Cleveland native, is a diehard Cavaliers fan, and James had a video message for him on the Season 5 premiere of “The Steve Harvey Show.”
James began the video by mentioning the world champion Cavaliers, adding that he was still absorbing the fact that they had won. He went on to congratulate Harvey on making it to a fifth season.
As for Harvey, he was still basking in the glow of the Cavaliers’ championship season. An audience member asked how the victory felt for him, as a fan of Cleveland sports, and Harvey proceeded to tell the audience that they could not imagine how he felt that night in June. Harvey may have best described that feeling after watching the video.
Harvey proclaimed, “From one king to another? King LeBron James. Original Kings of Comedy. Cleveland wins a title! Yah. Yeah. Yeah!”
