LeBron James Lets the F-Bombs Fly During Championship Parade Speech

The Cleveland Cavaliers celebrated their NBA championship with a parade Wednesday and were treated to a speech from four-time MVP LeBron James. The All-Star’s excitement led to some loose lips. “For some crazy-a** reason, I believe I’m gonna wake up and it’s gonna be, like, Game 4,” joked James to the thousands who turned out for the event. “I’m like, s***, we down 2-1 still.”

James’s excitement is totally understandable. In addition to being an Ohio native, this is the Cavaliers’ first championship ever. It’s also Cleveland’s first major pro sports title since 1964. Anyone who expected James to catch himself and tone down the language was sorely mistaken. As he went down the line and complimented each teammate while telling stories, James let many an expletive fly. But despite it being more of a family event, with plenty of children in attendance, no one seemed to mind this form of excitement from the athlete.
