Leah Remini's Ending Her 'Scientology' Show Amid Danny Masterson's Rape Allegations

Leah Remini has announced she's ending "Scientology and the Aftermath" after three seasons. This was announced amid a lawsuit brought against the actor Danny Masterson and the Church of Scientology.

"The King of Queens" star and former Scientologist shared she's pulling the plug on her series, confirming a story published by Hollywood Reporter on Thursday.

"Very proud of our brave contributors and the work that has been done so far," she wrote.

Ensuring fans there is "more to come," Remini ends the message stating, "Thank you for your support and love."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the last episode will be filmed in front of a live studio audience of former members. It will address "the accusations of rape against actor and Scientologist Danny Masterson." It will also include "footage of interviews with two of the women who've accused him."

The last show will also focus on testimonials regarding Scientology and the reports of "instances of sexual assault and physical violence to the authorities."

Interesting timing considering The Blast reported the lawsuit against Masterson, the Church of Scientology and leader David Miscavige on Wednesday.

As The Blast first reported, four women who accused "That '70s Show" star of sexual assault are suing the actor, the church, and Miscavige for allegedly stalking them in an effort to silence them.

According to court documents, "When those women came forward to report Masterson’s crimes," the lawsuit claims, "the Defendants conspired to and systematically stalked, harassed, invaded their and their family’s privacy, and intentionally caused them emotional distress and silence and intimidate them."

The stories from the women include allegations of being raped at gunpoint, as well as physical abuse.

Through a rep, Masterson told The Blast, "This is beyond ridiculous. I’m not going to fight my ex-girlfriend in the media like she’s been baiting me to do for more than two years. I will beat her in court—and look forward to it because the public will finally be able learn the truth and see how I’ve been railroaded by this woman. And once her lawsuit is thrown out, I intend to sue her and the others who jumped on the bandwagon for the damage they caused me and my family."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Scientology and the Aftermath" will air its final episode on August 26.
