Leah Remini reveals she still signs fan mail

Leah Remini doesn't take anything for granted.

Remini, 53, takes the time to sign fan mail every two weeks, even 17 years since the last episode of The King of Queens aired.

"I thought that I would share this with you. I still do my fan mail. I still sign it. My mother lays it all out on my dining room table, and I do this once every two weeks," explained Remini as she panned through dozens of autographed photos sitting on top of stamped envelopes in a video on Instagram.

"I always vow to do this and to always sign or take a picture if I can with people. Because this is what I dreamed about, people wanting my picture," continued Remini.

"My hubbs and I own the series and get so many good belly laughs! The chemistry is unmatched! 💕🥰," commented one Instagram user. Another wrote, "King of Queens is my comfort show. Watch every day!"

Remini played Carrie Heffernan in the beloved series and starred alongside Kevin James, who played her husband Doug. The middle-class couple lived in a Queens, New York home with Carrie's father, Arthur Spooner, played by the late Jerry Stiller. In 2017, Remini and James reunited during the second season of his short-lived CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait.

While celebrating the show's 25th anniversary in September 2023, Remini shared on Instagram that she signed on after doing "hundreds of auditions" and being "cast in many pilots and some short-lived series."

"As soon as production started on season one, I knew I was home, and I am blessed to say I was part of a truly special show that went on for nine seasons and 207 episodes and still lives on successfully in syndication," her caption continued.

The support she's received from fans "means the world," she wrote.
