Leah Remini filed her lawsuit against the Church of Scientology in early August, alleging years of stalking and harassment, but she’s already back in court with a motion for a preliminary injunction because the situation is reportedly escalating at an alarming rate. She is trying to protect herself, her family members, and her business from people associated with the religion.

Her latest filing, obtained by RadarOnline, noted, “[Leah] will suffer irreparable injury before the matter can be brought to trial if Defendants are not enjoined from acts that place [Leah] and individuals associated with [Leah] in danger, fear of harm, and/or financial distress.” The motion is an attempt to stop Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige and other members of the church to stop stalking, harassing, and otherwise unlawfully interfering” with her life.

Remini believes that they are out to “utterly destroy” her life and added, “The acts within this campaign have been in many forms and are delivered both electronically via social media and other internet websites, and personally in threats to me and those close to me.” The Church of Scientology has reportedly tried to intimidate brands that work with her and even interfere with her peace of mind in her personal life. She believes there have been attempts to “unlawfully enter” her gated community and that her mother, Vicki Marshall, had her restaurant broken into and her home was visited by two “Scientology agents” trying to deliver a “threatening message” to Remini.
