Lead singer of Van Halen crashes bachelor party blasting the band's music — and they had no idea who he was

Any fan of hard rock would be able to sing along to Van Halen hits like "Everybody Wants Some!" or "Runnin' With the Devil." However, a bachelor party blasting the American rock band's music in Las Vegas didn't realize that the lead singer, David Lee Roth, was standing directly in front of them.

In a video shot for Roth's podcast/video show, The Roth Show, the famous musician is seen knocking on a hotel room door as Van Halen's songs leaked out, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

"We heard some Van Halen here and my name's David Lee Roth and I'm right across the hallway," he told the guys inside.

"The fellas here were coming down the hallway and they said, 'Shit, we heard some Van Halen,'" Roth said, alluding to his crew. "And I said, 'Nah, [s***]!'"

The group that opened the door didn't seem starstruck; they seemed apologetic, possibly believing that Roth was staying nearby in the hotel and only there to complain about the volume of their music.

Roth continued to try to provide enough hints to the men that he was the frontman of Van Halen, even explaining he was in Las Vegas for the Electric Daisy Carnival. Last month, Roth performed Van Halen's "Jump" with Armin Van Buuren at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. While it's been confirmed Roth planned to promote the song in Vegas, a representative said he did not intend to join the stage with Van Buuren for an encore performance at EDC.

Roth and his crew cut their losses with the clueless fans and walked towards the elevator, laughing, as he said, "That's so [f***ing] funny, right? Isn't that something?"

Just as all hope seemed lost, one topless gentleman attending the party chased Roth and his crew down the hall. Instead of an ounce of recognition, he offered an apology for the loud music.

"Don't worry about noise, smoke [or] off-color humor," Roth said.
