World, meet Lea Michele’s baby bump. Baby bump, meet the world! The soon-to-be-new-mama has officially confirmed her pregnancy with husband Zandy Reich, after news broke earlier in the week that the couple was expecting their first child. The 33-year-old actress debuted her new bump on Saturday with a heartwarming snapshot that showcases her burgeoning belly.

Taking to Instagram, Michele posted a photo of herself standing in the yard, cradling her bump. The boho beauty is barefoot, makeup-free and radiating pure joy as she smiles down sweetly at her belly. “So grateful,” she wrote, simply summing up her sentiments about the pregnancy. Despite the ongoing pandemic, it’s proven to be a special stretch of months for the couple. They recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary, having gotten hitched last March in a romantic Northern California ceremony after two years of dating.

Adorably, some of Michele’s co-stars were among the first of her famous friends to weigh in on the photo. “OMG OMG,” gushed Glee co-star Ashley Tisdale. “Aww congrats! I love this. You’re going to be a great mommy!” commented Naya Rivera, another Glee pal. Michele’s Scream Queens co-star and friend Emma Roberts couldn’t contain her excitement, writing, “Crying! Screaming!!! Love you!”

People broke Michele and Reich’s pregnancy news earlier this week, citing a source who insisted, “They’ve always wanted to be parents.”

While they’re clearly staying pretty quiet about their new life development at the moment, this first photo may kick off Michele’s documentation of her pregnancy journey. She’s always been forthcoming with fans, continuing to share wedding photos for months on end after their big day.
Last year, Michele revealed her struggles with PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome. And since infertility can be a major side effect of this hormonal disorder, it makes Michele’s baby news even more exciting.

Congrats to the happy couple!
