LeBron James passes Kevin Durant for overall lead in 2nd round of voting for NBA All-Star Game

The NBA released the results of the second round of All-Star voting on Thursday, giving fans another peek at what the rosters might look like when the game is played on March 7.

The biggest change since the first round of voting was released on Feb. 4 is that the Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James has claimed the overall lead in votes from Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets. James was initially behind Durant by just over 14,000 votes, but now leads by over 135,000 votes. Both James and Durant have over four million votes each, as does Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

Rounding out the overall Top 5 is the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, both with over three million votes each.

Ben Simmons drops off, Klay Thompson moves up

The order of the vote-getters in the East and West frontcourts have stayed exactly the same, but there's been a little movement for the guards in each conference.

The Sixers' Ben Simmons, who had the tenth-most votes for guards in the East, has dropped off the list, and Fred VanVleet of the Toronto Raptors has taken his place. VanVleet is the only Raptors player on either list. Over in the West, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder fell off and was replaced by the Lakers' Alex Caruso.

Klay Thompson, who hasn't played in nearly two years, is still getting votes. The Warriors star, who is recovering from multiple knee injuries, has actually moved up the list since last week. He was 10th on the list of guards in the West but has moved up to eighth. Heathy or hurt, the fans love Klay.
