A new lawsuit focused on the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his co-executors alleges the late financier and associate Ghislaine Maxwell repeatedly raped a 26-year-old woman and threatened to feed her to alligators if she spoke out.
As detailed in a recent Miami Herald piece by Julie K. Brown, a Florida real estate broker identified in the suit as โJane Doeโ alleges that both Epstein and Maxwell repeatedly raped her in front of her eight-year-old son at a hotel in 2008. The woman also alleges that the two trafficked her to have sex with multiple men, including a judge, andโat one pointโresponded to her plans to report one of the alleged rapes to the authorities by having men who claimed to be cops threaten to have her arrested for prostitution.
According to the suit, Doe was born in Turkey and had resided in Florida since 2001. She was a Broward County resident at the time of the alleged assaults detailed in the suit. In late 2006 or early 2007, the woman was first introduced to Epstein and Maxwell at an event hosted by her employer at the time. From there, Epstein is said to have told the woman he wanted her to work for him. Heโs also alleged to have sent her expensive gifts, as well as promised to give her and her husband at the time โhighly-placed employment.โ
In early 2008, Doe claims she was hired to visit Epsteinโs mansion to cut his hair. Upon her arrival, the suit alleges, Epstein was nude. Epstein and Maxwell then allegedly โbrutally rapedโ the woman before giving her $200, later demanding that she drive with them in her car. During a stop on the drive, Epstein is alleged to have โushered the plaintiffโ to a body of water filled with alligators, telling her โin explicit detailโ that she would end up in the water and โdevouredโ if she ever chose to go public about Epsteinโs actions.

On Tuesday, sex trafficking charges were added to the indictment of Maxwell, who has been in federal jail with no bail since being arrested in July. The indictment added a fourth person to the previously disclosed allegations. That woman says she was sexually abused on multiple occasions by Epstein between 2001 and 2004, starting when she was 14 years of age.
In August of 2019, Epsteinโa little over a month after being arrested on federal sex trafficking chargesโwas found dead in his New York prison cell. A subsequent statement from New York Cityโs chief medical examiner ruled Epsteinโs death a suicide.
