Lauren Sanchez, the fiancée of Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos, seemed to address online insults hurled by Keith McNally, the same restaurateur who briefly banned James Corden from his eateries.

The former television anchor shared a pair of pointed posts in her Instagram story Tuesday night, a day after McNally dubbed her “revolting” in what appeared to be an unprovoked social media attack.

“People will love you, people will hate you, and none of it will have anything to do with you,” Sanchez’ first message read.

Sanchez followed up a short time later with another telling quote, this one from fashion stylist Rachel Zoe.

“Lead with kindness, root for other people, cheer for those you love,” the post said. “Just honestly wish everyone the best.”

While Sanchez did not directly address McNally, many were quick to speculate the posts were aimed at criticism shared online by the restaurateur on Monday. McNally, the owner of Balthazar in SoHo, among other popular New York eateries, shared a carousel of photos of the Amazon founder and his betrothed from a series of glitzy events, including the recent Vanity Fair Oscars bash.

“Does anybody else find Jeff Bezos’ New wife – Lauren Sanchez – ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING? What an ugly and F—ing SMUG – LOOKING couple they make,” McNally wrote on Instagram Monday.

“Is this what having 1000 Billion dollars does to people?”

Though McNally refers to Sanchez as Bezos’ wife, only their engagement has been confirmed. The pair famously coupled up while the Amazon founder was still allegedly with his now ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, triggering one of the priciest divorces in history. The pair announced they had finalized their split in 2019, with Scott walking away with around $36 billion — making her one of the richest women in the world.

Fellow celebrities were quick to defend Sanchez against McNally, with former Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen leading the charge.

“She’s actually incredibly dynamic, accomplished and kind,” the cookbook author wrote, “and everyone who knows her would say the same.”

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle similarly stepped up for Sanchez, calling her “accomplished, kind, smart and loved.”

“Social media is fun, but this is not. It is just mean for no reason,” she continued. “If we all took a breath and thought about what it feels like to be mocked and teased, we’d do a lot less of it.”

Chef Colin Fassnidge added: “You work in hospitality yet ……. You lack it ……..”

It is also not the first time McNally has feuded with celebrities online. In October 2022, he blasted Corden for mistreating staff at Balthazar and other restaurants over the course of multiple visits.

“James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man,” McNally said in a post at the time. “And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.”

McNally said he would not allow Corden to return to his SoHo restaurant but reversed course after the comedian apologized. The chef has offered no further comment on Sanchez, but he has since been active on social media, promoting his upcoming memoir, “I Regret Everything.”

“I finished writing my memoir yesterday. It’s being published by Simon & Schuster next February,” he wrote.

“I wrote the first line in a loony bin in Massachusetts in August 2018,” McNally continued. “And the last line on Thompson Street in NYC last night. I’ve written for four hours every single morning for the last 68 months. (And to what avail?)”
