Lauren Sánchez's life is sweeter with Jeff Bezos and her three children: Nikko, Evan and Ella.

Sánchez became a mom for the first time in 2001 when she welcomed her son Nikko with her ex-boyfriend, former NFL player Tony Gonzalez. After the two split, Sánchez married her now ex-husband, businessman Patrick Whitesell. Sánchez and Whitesell celebrated the arrival of their son, Evan, in 2006 and daughter, Ella, in 2008.

Bezos — who began dating Sánchez in 2019 and proposed to her in 2023 — entered the relationship with four kids of his own. The entrepreneur welcomed three sons and one daughter with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott. Though Bezos keeps his children away from the spotlight, he and Sánchez have worked hard behind closed doors to become one big, happy family.

"They've been together four years now, so their families are really blended at this point,” an insider told PEOPLE in 2023 after the couple was spotted vacationing with Sánchez’s oldest child, Nikko. “Their families are very close."

While Sánchez keeps her younger son and daughter’s lives private and faces off social media, she does use Instagram to give a little insight into their family values, like philanthropy.

The family shared an “incredibly moving experience” serving lunch to children in a Mexican shelter in August 2023. “With my own kids by my side, we came together to make delicious meals, cupcakes, and passed out backpacks filled with games, stuffed animals and essential supplies,” she shared on Instagram.

Nikko Gonzalez, 23

Sánchez’s oldest child, Nikko, was born in February 2001. Though the broadcast journalist split from NFL tight end Gonzalez shortly after, the pair have remained friendly as they raised their son together.

Nikko comes from a big family — he has two siblings on his mom’s side, three siblings through his dad and will soon gain four more siblings through Bezos. Despite the large group, Nikko hasn’t struggled to stand out.

He shares a special bond with both of his parents: When Nikko isn't joining Gonzalez on the red carpet for movie premieres, the father-son duo are taking part in daring activities together, like skydiving.

For her part, Sánchez praises her son often on social media. “You make life an adventure and I am so lucky to be a part of your journey,” she wrote in an Instagram post for his birthday in 2023. “I’m so proud of you, and I love you more than you can imagine.”

Most recently, Nikko launched his career as a model, and his mom had a front row seat when he graced a catwalk in Spain. “Just a proud mama,” she captioned an Instagram video in January 2024. “It was such a gift to watch my son @nikkogzz walking the runway for @dolcegabbana in Milan. Congrats, my love.”

The budding star also has a sweet relationship with his soon-to-be stepdad. "Nothing better than this," Sánchez wrote alongside an Instagram photo, in which she posed with her beau and her son when they went on vacation together.

Evan Whitesell, 17

In August 2005, Sánchez married Hollywood agent Whitesell, and the couple welcomed their first child together, son Evan, almost a year later in June 2006. PEOPLE confirmed at the time that he was born in Santa Monica, California, at St. John’s Hospital and weighed just under 7 lbs.

Sánchez and Whitesell finalized their divorce in late 2019, and they reached an agreement that included joint physical custody of Evan and his sister, Ella.

Though Sánchez tries to protect Evans’ privacy, she shares some updates about his life on social media while keeping his face hidden.

In November 2021, she posted a photo kissing her son and hugging her daughter while overlooking a mountainous landscape, captioning the snap, “Love these precious moments.”

In 2022, she gave a glimpse into a mother-son trip she took to Japan with Evan. “Making memories in Kyoto with my son,” she wrote alongside the video, which showed them walking arm-in-arm, visiting temples and gardens, and enjoying a boat ride.

Ella Whitesell, 16

Sánchez and Whitesell welcomed their daughter Eleanor Patricia, a.k.a. Ella, in January 2008.

Sánchez keeps her teenage daughter off social media but gave her a sweet shout-out on her 16th birthday in January 2024, featuring a throwback photo.

“I can’t believe you are already 16,” she wrote. “It seems like just yesterday I took this pic of you. In your quiet strength, you’ve grown, not with loud fanfares, but with the gentle grace of a sunrise. Each day, you show us the beauty of dedication and the power of quiet dreams.”

“We love you for everything you are, and everything you’re yet to become. I love you beyond words,” the mom of three added.

Sánchez also revealed that her daughter and sons have taken flight lessons — a passion the former So You Think You Can Dance host has had for years.

“Life can be so chaotic with so much going on,” Sánchez told The Hollywood Reporter about her love of flight. “Lift off and you’re in an energy space that no one else is in. It’s calming. When I’m up there, I’m completely satisfied. I’m like, ‘This is where I need to be.’ ”
