Lauren Manzo Scalia Reveals She Has Lost 30 Pounds Since January

Lauren Manzo Scalia has been documenting her ongoing health journey via Instagram throughout the last year. In December 2020, she declared, "I'm making smaller health goals, ones that I can still feel accomplished when I hit them." Six months later, the Manzo'd with Children alum is sharing a major update.

"Down 30 lbs since January," Lauren wrote in an Instagram Story photo before giving a shoutout to her trainer, Darren Venom Goodall. In the photo, Lauren also showed a close-up of her meal consisting of eggs and avocado topped with seasoning. "My breakfast this AM [because Darren] has been on my ass to be better," she wrote.

In September 2020, Lauren opened up about changing her eating habits after she started working with the trainer. "[Darren] wants me [to eat] pretty much high-protein, high-carbs, something about building muscle," she explained at the time. The following month, she reflected in an Instagram caption: "As I got older I started to notice that not eating right was really affecting me. My skin got duller, and I didn't have a ton of energy."

Lauren elaborated on her new habits following an October 2020 grocery shopping trip as she showed the red peppers, frozen cauliflower pizzas, and more frozen items she had purchased at Trader Joe's. "I've definitely changed a lot in the last couple weeks," she said. "[My trainer] Darren is right — meal prep is extremely important. But for those days that I'm not able to meal prep or that I need something real quick, if I'm noticing I'm not getting my [macronutrients] in certain ways, I got a bunch of frozen stuff."
